Reaction Trails Death Of Christopher Ayeni In Kwara South

Kwara Southerners are in the state of mourning following the passing away of one of it’s renowned politicians, Honorable Christopher Tunji Ayeni, also known as CT Ayeni whose death occurred at the early hours of Thursday during a fatal accident at the famous Igbaja road junction, Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun Local Government area of the state.

The breaking of the news sounds unbelievable and came as a rude shock to numerous people who heard of the death.

Among the mourners according to our correspondent who monitored some of the social media platforms included Igbomina people, Kwara South Youth Organization, KWAYORG, Kwara Stakeholders Consultative Forum, Friends and Associates.

Honorable Ayeni was described as a grassroot politician whose death was unfortunate.

Late CT Ayeni was one time member, Kwara State House of Assembly, Commissioner for Agriculture and House of Representatives aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

Several reports revealed that a moving trailer rammed into Ayeni’s Hilux vehicle and died on the spot.

According to some prayers offered to the deceased, some said “May Almighty God grant him eternal rest and may His grace and mercy continue to be with his family”

“May his soul continue to rest in perfect peace. Amen”

Also, there were some people who couldn’t believe the news, they were asking in shock mood if the news was true or not.

“Au sure of what ua saying sir?” said by someone on a WhatsApp platform.

The body of the deceased has been deposited in an undisclosed hospital.
