Oba Abu, Others Named KWSUED Governing Council
Former Federal Character Commission Chairman, Professor Shuaib Oba Abdulraheem, OFR, has been appointed as the pro-chancellor and chairman of the Governing Council for the Kwara State University of Education, KWSUED.
Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor, Rafiu Ajakaye made this known in a press statement on Friday.
This appointment made by the state governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq according to the statement mandates that Professor Oba will lead a team of other senior citizens, administrators and academics to ensure a smooth take-off of the school.
Other members of the Governing Council are: Bukola Iyabo Opaleke, Hajia Risikat Lawal, Rotimi Samuel Olujide, Professor Umar Gunu, Engineer Saad Belgore and Femi Aina.
The remaining members includes Omowumi Amuda, Hajia Kubra Kazum, Professor Ibrahim Abdukadir Abikan and a representative of the Ministry of Tertiary Education.
