Job Creation: Nigeria Govt. Signs MOU With Sapphital Ltd.

Federal Government of Nigeria and Sapphital Limited have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration on the implementation of the Labour Employment and Empowerment Programme (LEEP).
This was disclosed in a statement released by the Head of Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry Youth Development, Patience Onuobia.
According to the statement, during the signing of the MOU in Abuja between the Federal Ministry Youth Development (FMYD) and Sapphital Limited, The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha re-affirms that the Federal Government is committed to advancing employment opportunities for Nigerians, improving working conditions and building a resilient and thriving labour workforce.
She says the MOU, which seeks to advance employment creation, empowerment and workforce transformation for Nigerian youths, marks a significant step in that direction.

Onyejeocha explains that strengthening Nigeria’s workforce and expanding job opportunities are primary areas of concern under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu.
She adds that the collaboration will create jobs and economic opportunities for all Nigerians.
Also speaking, the Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, emphasises the commitment of the Federal Government to delivering real and transformative opportunities for the young people in Nigeria.
Olawande describes the signing of the MOU by the two ministries as an indication of the seriousness of the Federal Government to attack head-on the issue of youth employment.
The Minister implores all those involved to see the signing of the MOU as an opportunity to re-affirm their collective dedication to reducing unemployment, expanding economic opportunities, and securing a better future for the youths of Nigeria.
