Kwara NUJ Felicitates Owolewa On U.S Election Victory

Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Kwara State Council has extended its congratulations to a native of Kwara and United States legislator, Dr Oye Owolewa, on his re-election as the District of Columbia United States Representative in the recently concluded U.S. elections.

In a statement issued by the Council Chairman, Abdullateef Ahmed and Secretary, Mahmood Alaya, the NUJ emphasises that Dr Owolewa’s re-election reflects his acceptance and support among his constituents.

The Union who commends his dedication and recognizes his achievements, notes that his continued presence in the U.S. Congress is a source of pride not only to the people of Kwara but Nigerians around the world.
