Kwara State Govt Improves Healthcare Services, Procures More Equipment For Uptimum Service.
Kwara State Government says it has procured advanced medical equipment for the Eye Clinic section of Sobi Specialist Hospital, Ilorin as part of efforts toward enhancing healthcare delivery for the people of that state.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Amina Ahmed El-Imam disclosed this during the week in a statement released by the assistant Press Secretary in the state Ministry of Health, Funke Olutimilehin after an assessment visit to the hospital to ascertain the quality of work done at the newly renovated facility as well as recently procured state of the art equipment.
The statement notes that the Commissioner affirmed that, the eye clinic now has the capacity to serve Kwara and other States as well.
Dr El-Imam also encourages residents to take advantage of the upgraded facility at Sobi Specialist Hospital, located within Ilorin metropolis, for their eye care needs.
According to the statement, during the visit, the Commissioner also seized the opportunity to engage pregnant women on health discussions, emphasizing the vital role of proper nutrition on their health and the well being of unborn children.
Aslo, Chief Medical Director, Sobi Specialist Hospital Alagbado, Ilorin, Dr Kolade Solagberu commends the State Government for the renovation, adding that, the new development will further enhance quality service delivery in the State and beyond.
