Oke-Ode Christians Besiege God For Total Transformation, Holds Intercessory Prayer

Oke-Ode Christian community in Ilorin, Kwara state have converged on Monday to seek the face of God in prayer for prosperity, progress and peace of Oke-Ode land.
Men, women, youths and children came out in their large numbers to take part in the special intercessory prayers held at ECWA IDCC event hall, Ilorin titled “call on me”.
During the prayers, various prayer coordinators called for upliftment of all the illustrious Sons and Daughters of Oke-Ode land, successful selection of the much awaited monarch, successful tenure of office of the new NNPCL boss, Engineer Bashir Ojulari, and general development of the town.
In a sermon delivered, Reverend Jonathan Adeboye stressed the need for indigenes of Oke-Ode, irrespective of religion affiliate to call on God in their prayers as directed by God himself for the restoration of the lost glory of the town.
Reverend Adeboye who maintained that God loves people to be calling on him in time of needs, assured that God is ever ready to listen to their pleas.
He advised people to strongly seek repentance of their sins against God to hasten the much needed restoration they are clamoring for.
During sideline of the event, one of the coordinators, Elder Bayo Oladimeji, called on Oke-Ode indigenes living in Ilorin and other parts of the country to remember visiting their homeland often to know whichever area of development they could contribute their own quota.
He also urged Christian youths of the town to fully participate in politics and become one of the decision makers without blemish.
Other indigenous clergymen who participated included: Reverend Adenigba, Elder Olaosebikan, Elder Bamidele, Elder Idowu, Evangelist Segun Isaiah, Evangelist Tunde Akogun, Evangelist Sunday Ajileye, Pastor Joshua Aremu and other representatives of various compounds in Oke-Ode.
