Senator Mustapha Calls For Urgent Adoption Of Technology To Boost Agricultural Productivity In Africa
Lawmaker representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, Abuja, Senator Soliu Mustapha has called for the urgent adoption of seed technology to boost agricultural productivity across Africa.
Senator Mustapha made the call Tuesday, while speaking at the 7th Seed Connect Africa Conference in Abuja.
The lawmaker who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Agricultural Production, Services and Rural Development, stated in his address stressed that challenges like climate change, insecurity, and population growth are making it necessary for the country to embrace modern solutions to secure food systems.

The Senator also reiterated his full commitment to working with key players to ensure that agricultural sector transform our for the benefit of our people and future generations.

He however urged stakeholders to make collaborative efforts towards securing a sustainable future for the nation and continent.
