Senator Mustapha Sets Straight Another Big Record, Rolls Out Mega Empowerment For Constituents
No fewer that 3,000 residents of Kwara Central Senatorial District will benefit from the empowerment initiative designed to uplift the lives of the masses.
This was disclosed in a statement released on Monday by Mr. Nasif Sholagberu, the Media Aide to Senator Saliu Mustapha.
According to the statement, the intervention program known as the Alubarika Empowerment Programme, an initiative program of Kwara Central Senatorial District Senator at the National Assembly, Saliu Mustapha, reflects the principles of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s ongoing efforts to drive sustainable development in the state.
“The Alubarika Empowerment Programme is not a one-off distribution but a carefully structured initiative aimed at creating long-term impact. Beneficiaries have undergone rigorous training in various skill acquisition programmes, ensuring they are well-prepared to make the most of the support they will receive”
The program scheduled to hold at the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority in Ilorin according to the statement will equip beneficiaries, including entrepreneurs, artisans, farmers, and party loyalists, with essential resources and startup capital to enhance their productivity and economic independence.
The statement maintains that the initiative will deliver a range of empowerment tools, including, agricultural inputs, modern tools, fertilizers, and improved seedlings, to enhance food production and strengthen agribusiness.
It further discloses that vocational and business equipment are also available to empower artisans, skilled workers, and small-scale entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to expand their businesses.
It adds that seed capital and financial grants to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) will also be included.
“The Alubarika Empowerment Programme is designed to be a well-organized and impactful event, with robust security arrangements and logistical frameworks already in place. This initiative is not just about distributing resources but about reinforcing the spirit of self-reliance and empowerment that President Tinubu’s administration champions”
While enumerating how well the program has been planned, it notes that several key stakeholders from Kwara state and across the country are expected to grace the occasion, with the likes of Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazak, CON.
According to the statement, others include federal and state legislators, heads of states and federal government agencies, community, religious, political leaders, and party loyalists from across the state.
“Senator Saliu Mustapha has long been a champion of empowerment and human capital development. Even before his election into the Senate, his Saliu Mustapha Foundation had touched thousands of lives through financial aid, business support, and capacity-building programmes”
The statement however notes that Senator Mustapha is translating the Renewed Hope vision into tangible opportunities for the people of Kwara Central.
