Some Gov. Abdulrahman’s Benefactors Forming Rebel With Opposition To Discredit APC in Oke-Ero- Barr. Towoju

One of the prominent leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oke-Ero local government area of Kwara state, Barrister Anthony Kayode Towoju, has enjoined members of the party to continue their loyalty and commitment to the party under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Barrister Towoju gave the advice recently during the party stakeholders’ meeting on in Ilofa, Oke-Ero local government area.

Barrister Towoju who is a former council chairman and former Commissioner in the state, lamented that it was regrettable and ironical that those who have been benefitting from the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq are the ones conniving with opposition parties to be discrediting APC government at the local and state government level.

“They profess to be loyal to the APC leadership at the state whereas all their meetings centered on disloyalty to the leadership of the party at the local and state levels”

He urged those from other districts forming rebels against the party leadership in fanning the ambers of discord and disunity to desist such acts.

Earlier in the meeting, Chairman of the state APC, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, warned that any party member working against the leadership structure will face disciplinary action.

Prince Fagbemi reaffirmed the party’s commitment to unity and orderliness, stating that any act of indiscipline and illegality would not be tolerated.

Present at the meeting included the Oke-Ero local government Chairman, James Abiodun Fadipe, state Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Mary Arinde, Special Assistant to the Governor on Social and Political Mobilization, Ajayi Femi Peter (Arekujaye).

Also present at the meeting included members of the state house of assembly led by the Chief Whip of the House, Abolarin Ganiyu Gabriel, and Joseph Olajire Bamigboye Kuti. 

Others are Ekiti local government chairman, Wale Awelewa, Benjamin Jolayemi, Barrister Titus Ashaolu, Barrister Raphael Ashaolu, Mr. Ope Ibikunle, Prince Michael Ajamu, among others.

In their separate remarks, they passed a vote of confidence on the Oke-Ero local government chairman, James Abiodun Fadipe and his councilors, affirming that he has been performing creditably well and running an inclusive government since he assumed office.
