Super Eagles Victory Over Rwanda: “Solid Win & Clean Sheet” – Nwabali


Following the Super Eagles 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier 2-0 win over Rwanda on Friday, Nigeria’s goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali says
Eric Chelle’s side went for tourism against Rwanda, adding that it was a solid win for the visitors.
Nwabali who stated this via his X account after the game, said: “Solid win and clean sheet. We went for sightseeing. Great team spirit!!!”
A brace from Victor Osimhen gave the Super Eagles all three points against Rwanda in Kigali.
The result moved Nigeria to 4th position in Group C standing.
Chelle’s side now have six points from five matches and are just behind Rwanda with a point on the log.
The Super Eagles will clash with Zimbabwe on Tuesday in their next game.
However, Nwabali is hopeful to keep another clean sheet when Nigeria host Zimbabwe, who played 2-2 with Benin Republic in their qualifier.
