Teaching Job Application Portal Opens In Kwara TESCOM

Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) says it has released the application link for its teaching job openings, urging interested and qualified individuals to apply through its official website, tescom.kwarastate.gov.ng

This was disclosed in a statement released on Tuesday, by the Press Secretary, Sam Onile.

According to the statement, the TESCOM Chairman, Mallam Bello Abubakar directs all applicants to carefully read through the portal for guidance about the process.

“All applicants are advised to read the press statement initially issued on the recruitment process. The statement is on the portal for ease of reference,” the statement said.

The statement discloses that the link will go live at 12 midnight on Wednesday February 5th, 2025, and closes on February 14th, 2025.

It advices that persons without a university degree in relevant subject areas should not apply, while holders of NCE who do not have a university degree should not also apply.

The statement says that applicants who meets the first-layer recruitment criteria will be invited for a computer based test (CBT) at a centre closest to their local government of residence.

It adds that applicants who passes the CBT test will be invited for interviews, while successful candidates will undergo drug tests at approved NDLEA centres, among other verification exercises that will precede the issuance of employment letters.

“This process, for the record, will strongly balance between qualification, competence, employability, and availability to work in the hinterlands/rural areas where we mostly require teachers,” the statement said.
